ha ha, the women's rights march also invited CAIR.  That's like inviting the Nazi Party to a bat mitzvah.

Tits and Sass is one of the best ezine for news about sexwork and for sexworker advocacy. It is free although they like any of us welcome contributions.
Today, they have an interesting piece on the inclusion of sexworkers in the Washington march today in addition to their usual fare of essays, summaries of bad police work, and so on.

...who wants Sharia Law to be recognized within the United States. Muslims within the US need to assimilate to the American culture. Sharia Law represents the Muslim culture not the Muslim religion. Banning Sharia law doesn't prevent one from practicing their Muslim religion as Ms. Sarsour alleges. It would violate the equal protection of the Constitution to have two (or more) sets of laws apply to citizens of the U.S.

I don't want to undermine the importance of the Women's March to those who participate. You go, girls!!  But really, I always think it's important to be skeptical, cynical and aware of possible subversive motives of those who organize, support or fund any type of political activity. Peace.

an ardent opponent of sharia as conceived of by so called radical Islam and as imagined in the bigoted nightmares of the alt-right. Look her up, her record speaks for itself.
Stereotyping providers, clients, Islam, or Christianity is counter to the civil rights of all of us.  Is it not Christian sharia that locks up providers and clients who are engaging in consensual sexual activities?

Peddle that BS someplace else.  These countries, all Muslim majority, have the death penalty for apostasy and blasphemy.
