Maybe someone you consider a troll is not someone I consider to be a troll.    Some people  ignore those who disagree with them.    In other words, the list you have is not relevant to me or another board member. Makes no sense to share ignore lists.

I have ONE person on my ignore list and I cannot see anything he ever posted.  So, hmmmmmmmm, if I can't see his posts, how exactly would I reply to them.   The only time I  can see that ignored persons posting is if it is quoted in someone else's post.  

...but if you read the board without logging in, you can see the posts of those you've ignored. That's what breadmaker is doing. So, technically, he's not unblocking anyone so he's not lying. And we all know that breadmaker would NEVER, NEVER lie to his board colleagues....riiiight...  snort snort snort!!

...I don't know if it will work. PM the alias and try to get him/her to PM you back. From that returned PM you might be able to 'ignore user' that alias which should work on both your PMs and the alias's board posts.

I've tried that. There is a ignore button but when you click on it it tells you "you cannot ignore this user." You can only ignore a user's real handle. You have a PM BTW.

Seriously, the ignore button is so junior high but then again so is this entire exchange.

And so long as your posts pass muster with TER, anyone can post as they see fit.  But it is a discussion board so best be prepared to deal with people who will post replies disagreeing with you.  As far as ignoring people goes, well I think each of us can make our own decisions on who we want to put on that list.
