At least when the reviews provider does this sort of thing the word mets out. Not like answering the adds with no name or number so you can not even post when it happens.
Just submitted a review as well but since that takes a couple days to get reviewed I thought I'd get the message out to save any other hobbyists some trouble.
I know Katie has a ton of good reviews so this took me by surprise as well, but she totally scammed me out of $450. I sent her $450 in hotels.com gift cards (which she agreed to as a form of payment) and got nothing in return except a few emails/texts to which she has stopped responding to all together.
Now I'm not sure if I'm the first person she's ripped off or not, but I just want to get the word out that she has ripped me off and I'm guessing would rip other people off as well.
She had a reputation for NCNS like no one I have ever seen before or since. At one point she was also advertising a service to write reviews for providers. This news doesn't surprise me at all.
Could be that someone pirated her website or set up a duplicate. Happens all the time with legitimate business'. Why the hell would any provider request gift cards? Pre payment with a gift card is a classic scam.

Did she attempt to cancel or offer to reschedule in one of them?
