As a therapist or client do you prefer a table or futon/bed? Why

...which is a little more difficult to pull off on a futon bed. Also, I believe it's easier on the masseuse to provide a massage in a comfortable standing position with the bed at ~ 40" or so. I don't think futons are designed for receiving or giving a truly quality massage.

My experience has has taught me that typically T=T and F=F...  

... for nuru massage. The best experience I've had with nuru involved a waterproof, washable cover sheet specially designed for nuru, on a large bed--with a heated pad under the cover sheet.  I know some nuru providers use inflatable air mattresses for nuru, but the bed/cover sheet/heater setup worked great.

I prefer table followed by a table massage.

because it facilitated any position, no hanging over the table.

...... and if the table is comfortable and you are going to actually receive belly down even while they tease, It has  gotta have a face cradle so us old guys do not have to have our head kinked to the side for the first part of the massage .... the provider has always made me wake up for the flip and exciting part. .... if i exchange i always move better and deliver DATY from standing or leaning into a 40 inch table height..... and if you are asking about the ultimate dream yes it always includes the Nuru or just a nice table shower to finish off the oil if done at the end or to test the performance of what is to come if done at the beginning, if the provider grabs Mr J or at least pays attention on the table shower you can hope that they will follow when on the flip
