Most of what I read is accurate about how AMP fun was back when we had some ..... Ah, the good old days!

Looking hot ain't she?  And the photos coincide with my memory.  I may have to revisit that very well-preserved, hospitable and pretty derriere.

Almost quaint, those old massage/sauna anecdotes. And episodes sadly missed.

Anyone ever speculate on what the $$ might be today in those dens had they survived?

Pointless, I guess.

I hope a choice few of today's notable independents are doing BETTER for themselves in their "new" environs. We know who they are, and we know they deserve it.

Before my nostalgia train leaves the station (light rail, of course) does anyone recall a 30-something, short-haired and very busty blonde at the old place on Chicago?

Fun, fun, fun - two-way fun. And a nice wave goodbye in the back parking lot on the way out.

Oh, but we could go on, huh?

Here is the (free) newer version of the site, active in many cities, but pretty lacking, at least this year, in MN.

when there were dozens of parlors to go to with the most beautiful women you could ever imagine and it only cost $50-$100 to have anything you wanted. now those were the days . . . i remember running into a super hot 18 year old at the old cosmopolitan in st.paul where it was $60 to get in and you paid nothing else - tipping wasn't even expected, and then i ran into her a few years later at the vu where she was the top girl, and was still amazing take-out . . .

The "Rialto"  or something like that??? Does anyone remember that place?  I went there for my 18th birthday, and took a skinny little black girl as my date (some things never change!) We saw "fortune cookie nookie" and I got to get my finger "stinky" while we watched the movie together - lol!
It wasn't too long after that I explored that other porn shop/massage parlor that was right next to it, I don't remember the name, but they had dirty movies that you could watch for 25¢ (I think they were on film projectors, not TVs) and then on the other side of the building they had "massage" and a giant Jacuzzi tub that you could get in with the women.... Does anyone else remember this place? It was a two story brick building a couple blocks east of 35W on the south side of Lake Street.... I wish I could remember more since it's such a part of my hobby history, being the first place I ever "paid" for lovin'!

The Rialto theater at Chicago and Lake and then the bookstore next door.  They were owned by the late Ferris Alexander.  When he was convicted of tax evasion and some charges they were closed down.  I lived 2 blocks from there when I moved to Mpls in 1986.  I wasn't invovled in the hobby then, sounds like I a missed a fun place.

Thanks for helping me sort out the history in head, If I could go back and do it over, I think I would do it "chemical free" so I could remember it better - ROTFL!

It was the fall of '86 that I got to the metro area, and by '87 I was living on Franklin Av. and I dived head first into the hobby (right there in your neighbourhood - lol!) Yup! you missed some nasty, fun, twisted, dangerous times, that's for sure! An era that we'll never have back again.....
