So many ads I see these days by women of color as well as white providers say, "No back males." What's a black man to do? Does that include other non-white males such as Asian or males of African descent? Are Latino's okay? I am not African American or black and have never been but it seems like eliminating the problem of dealing with pimps (who I assume are always black??) by refusing to see black males is like saying all Muslims are terrorists type way of thinking. Is there more to this than I know? Just curious.

Thank you Apollo, hopefully everyone behaves.... lets hope so. Providers have a right to see whoever they choose. I doubt if its a racial thing, probably just a preferance, I would think.

This is not a service like any other.  Because of the intimate nature of what they do, I believe the ladies have every right to decline to see certain clients for whatever reason.  Depending on what that reason is, I may think very little of it but it's their call, not mine.  And better to be up front about it than have an unpleasant moment when you get to her door or vice-versa.

Yes, I understand everyone has the right to see who they want to.  I also recognize everyone has filters. But first, the lunacy about pimps and thugs pejorative.  It's that stereotypical BS that puts more of a sting in this issue.  Equally, 99.9% of the ads single out African American males; rarely any other racial groups. Finally where I am not happy when I see it in a provider's ad, at least they have the decency to post their preferences, where many do not,  leaving one to ask the question if they see African American men. I hate doing it, but it is a necessary evil.

As far as asking about particular services...to use a 2011 term; Really? Only African American men ask about services?  Let's don't get altruistic here, this is an adult entertainment clearinghouse site where your services and performance are listed.

It's a complex subject where the rights of the individual and the rights of society clash on the most basic level. To me, the rights of the individual almost always trump, so then it just comes down to a matter of style. By the way, 411 asks about weight, smoking, circumcision and more! Frankly, I don't get the point of the picture.

As I said before, we all have filters.  We all have prejudices.  The difference is when you are in a position of power. RACISM is where one's filters and prejudices are institutionalized, normally to the detriment or exclusion of the targeted racial group.  

Democracy has always been messy in US history. Freeing of the slaves, women getting the right to vote, Japanese enternment camps, integration of the armed forces, integration of various sports, eating at certain facilities, attending the university of your choice, voting, Americans with Disablities Act, Gays openly serving in the military and I could go on. Rights changed, in spite of and because of individual filters and prejudices.

So frankly, I won't spend a lot of brainpower worrying that someone won't see me in this hobby, whatever their motivation is. But to not be cognizant of it, on all the levels of motivation?  Well...

On it's most basic level, this classic modification of a restaurant sign describes what happens when government gets involved.

The sign could and should, I suppose, be much longer to include any group that has an identified status. The "joke" of the pic is that they literally can't refuse service to (pretty much) anyone because of legal protections.

Any deeper levels one chooses to bring to the pic are up to the individual. Kind of like poetry ... make of it what you will beyond the obvious.
