I don't mind providers not answering the phone...what sucks is when they say they will be there in 30 minutes, then contact you 45 minutes later and say be there in 10 and never show.
I feel your pain. a couple months ago I called a reviewed provider sun morning, made a sun appt for 1pm, she rescheduled for 2pm. at 3 she rescheduled for 8pm. got a hold of her at 9, said her phone died. still wasn't ready. at 10 she didn't answer. spent half the day in my car. shoulda stayed home.
Just airing some frustrations, she has great reviews so I wouldn't be the one to say avoid this provider...hopefully she will she this and know that it has an affect.
It actually has no affect if you don't let us know who it is. You don't have to tell anyone to avoid her, just that she ncns'd you. We can decide if we still want to chance it based on other good reviews. Make sense?
in my case the fact I was still calling, after what was basically an 8 hour delay, prompted her to ask me if I'm a cop (dammit Jim, I'm a doctor, not a cop). i don't wanna throw her under the bus for that. safety first ya know. she never did ask for a reference though. maybe I too just wanted to vent. If ya don't vent once in a while, eventually you'll blow up.

No effect if you don't say who. Why protect a NCNS? Makes no sense.
She may be well reviewed but that doesn't make NCNS OK. If the OP wants to give her some time to see if she does something to explain or make amends, that's fine but if guys start giving her a pass on NCNS then that's only making it more likely it will happen again.
I think the only way to stop the NC/NS problem is to have this a two way street. Give them some time to see if they do something to explain or make amends, but then if nothing is done, post their TER handles or it will keep happening.
We have the ladies board and you have the guys board, but this doesn't seem to be doing much about the problem, and I think we all agree that it is a HUGE problem for both sides.
It doesn't really make sense to post something like this, then not the name, like others have said.
I was guilty of doing the same thing before. (Whining to the board about a NC/NS without giving the TER Handle) I don't do it anymore, but will if we can agree that this is how we are going to do it--post their TER Handles after giving them X amount of time to explain.
If we decide to do nothing, that's fine too, but then what good is a post like this? Whatever.....
I understand it's the summer. I TOTALLY get that when it is 85 and sunny on a Sunday afternoon that a good day out on the lake might sound even better than the fun time you've planned with your favorite sexy escort. But for goodness sake...just say so!
Ditto of course for ladies. If you make plans and then are running late, DON'T make the guys call YOU to figure out why! It's just rude. Appointments are set so we can allow for traffic, allow for time to get ready, make sure we have whatever we need. I am calling 30 minutes ahead if I even THINK I might be running 5 minutes behind, lol! !
One other annoying habit I've been dealing with, especially lately, is the "Are you available?" email which gets replied to by me, but then never gets a response back--even if I had responded quickly and favorably. So there I am, checking email and hoping to not miss someone's window of opportunity for them and I am not hearing a thing. Again, if you change your mind (or you wrote to a dozen ladies and someone else replied first) just be gentleman enough to say SOMETHING to those of us who take the time to reply to you!

I am one of those that ask the proverbial "Are you available" question but I usually add a specific date, time and location. After I receive an affirmative response, only then do I forward the lady my personal info and screening info as well.
I have never asked that question to more than one lady at a time unless 48 hours have passed without response and my window of opportunity is closing.
Sometimes I hear back within a few hours, other times, 9 months later (no kidding) and that from a well reviewed provider. Of late the response time is about three to five days which leads me to believe a few providers are hedging their bets and then respond to my inquiry at the last minute for me.
If my plans change or something comes up, I usually don't respond back for a variety of reasons from not wanting to waste a provider's time or not wanting to come across as a stalker.
I didn't know providers actually kept checking their email waiting for a response. From now I will simply send a polite message stating my plans have changed or she responded too late and maybe next time things will work out.
ive had more no shows on clients parts than ever the past month! I cannot understand whats going on??? Do they NOT think we have other things to do in life but sit and wait sometimes HOURS for theses people? Just dont get it
