According to the Chicago mod, you are no longer allowed to publicly post the name of a provider that does a NCNS.

Puck, care to weigh in on this?

It says 'per TER Admin.' The mods are not admin, they are volunteers. Admin are the owners of the site.

Hit the 'contact us' button at the top of the page to sumbit the question or complaint. Puck can't help.

Either way BS not to be able to post a NCNS!

management seems to be adding more rules than the IRS lately.  Not good for anyone using this for the resource it was intended to be, that includes both parties.

This R.O. board is a national board.  If you want to use it as a barometer of how well things are going, you'd notice that in '07 a well-read post would top 2000 reads.  In 2010, a well-read post will top 200 reads.

The change discussed here will not increase readership.

Isn't here for the hobbyists, it is merely here to help and support the providers.

Soj made an error - he was thinking, I'm sure, of TER policy about outing any real name info on the boards. NCNS can and should be outed on the boards. Here is Admin's policy:

I have not discussed this with Soj yet. I want to set the record straight first.

I do not have a rule regarding NCNS posts. Reviews cannot be posted by a user if he does not meet a provider face to face that is site policy.

When a user is NCNS he needs to do his fellow hobbyists the favor of posting about his NCNS on his regional board.

Posting her name or linking to her reviews is fine. Please be able to back up your statements regarding NCNS to some degree.

Posting about a NCNS to get revenge on a provider for whatever reason will not be tolerated.

Admin was very clear: if you have a NCNS, post it with her info on the boards, as you cannot write a review.

Equally clear: if you do it just to fuck with a provider you're pissed at it will not go well for you.

Please explain for the class how that shows TER to be "merely here to help and support the providers."

...You are right. I stand corrected.  I must have misread the post, my apologies.

but this site takes enough heat over things that I gotta step up when it's getting hammered unfairly. It takes a lot to run it and having seen some of the behind the scenes traffic, I'm amazed it works so well.

From a ladies POV...
When a fella NCNS's, which does happen, I always put it in the ladies room.. Only after I have emailed or pm'd and waited 48hrs for a response.. Just in case something happened.. I have had things happen before that just could not be helped.. I had an allergic reaction and was in the hospital.. Car wreak.. Ect.
I put the info. in the ladies room because I feel that only the ladies need the info..
I feel like when a lady NCNS's it should be put in the Man's room.. Just a personal opinion.. I feel some men would be more comfortable commenting if it is there than in open air, so to speak..
Just my practices and thoughts..

I know for the Hobbyist only board you have to have a certain number of reviews to gain access.

Does the provider room have the same kind of restriction?

I think the info should be available to all hobbyist or All providers depending on the situation, thoughts?

I'm all for giving the lady a chance to gt back to me; I won't post about it until some time has gone by.  Unfortunately, some guys post about the NCNS right away but don't name names wanting to give the escort a chance to respond; however we never hear anything more about it.

Also, the problem with posting on the men's board is that most guys won't see it and one of the purposes of posting about NCNS is to alert as many other guys as to what happened.

Good point!! If nobody looks then nobody will see...
I think it is important for the ladies and the fella's to report NCNS problems.. It saves the rest of us the trouble.. Also, when posted correctly the person in question may respond.. Like I said, I have had problems in the past, out of my control, in which i have NCNS'd.. Things happen!! After a good amount of time has passed and still no explanation, then I say post away... 1. It saves other's the trouble... 2. It lets a person know that the behavior is unacceptable and they usually won't do it again...
Just my opinion... But hey i'm blonde, what do I know...
