Opioid use in America... estimated to be 11 million Non Medical users, highest usage is oxycodone
Oxycodone - Non Medical usage (several street names including Hill Billy Heroin)
Number 1 reason for non medical usage most often given is to numb emotional pain
5% (1 in 20) teenagers have used for Non Medical purposes
11% (1 in 9) women of child bearing age have used for Non Medical purposes

While Talon's numbers are an extreme exaggeration it would be naive to fail to recognize provider addiction/addictions occur at a much higher rate than the general population

the Laureate Universities that paid Bill Clinton over $15M to be honorary chancellor.  $2.5M paid to him while Hillary was Secretary of State.  This is a for-profit organization... you know...  the kind that the Clintons despise. I guess, unless, they're paying you tons of money to do nothing.  Oh.... and there is a huge scandal and lawsuits involving this organization, but you wouldn't know it because the lame stream media is so in the tank for the Clintons that they won't cover it.

Are often spot on though.  

Also, he does bring possible dangerous situations to the attention of the board. Potential busts, etc. and I for one am appreciative of that.

His calling providers "hoes" does not affect me. I try to look at his words, not the messenger. Look at our President-Elect, same deal!😗

Life is much better when you don't spread negativity - especially on purpose.

You're laughing as you write this, but the rest of your life, you are angry and blaming other people for your problems and your failures. (If even small.)

You look at your mother, sister, and co-workers remembering every negative thing they have said and done to you, including something as simple as ignoring you when they had other things on their mind.

So instead, you find a group of people who laugh at others with you so you can feel like at least someone accepts you. But it's not healthy for you.

An attitude of gratitude takes practice, and continual discipline to achieve as a normal habit. Not hanging around friends who seek people out to laugh at their humanity also changes you.

Until you become positive, and thankful, and take ownership for your own life, the way you look at people will continue to be the way you look at them now. If not worse as time goes on. And you will continue to feel as though life and people have given you the short end of the stick.

Why not give yourself the longer end of the stick? Once you learn how to do that, life won't feel like such a ripoff to you.

Talon is the MN board's equivalent of Oldtimemonger or bbfs4ever from the GD board.  I don't take any of the crap that he spews seriously.  On a lighter note, if you're on the MN board, maybe you're thinking of a visit?  I'm sure you'll like it here; it's a favorite for many touring providers.  It's the whole "Minnesota Nice" thing, or something.
