glad to hear the area treated you well.

I'm glad to hear your trip here was productive and enjoyable.  Anything memorable from either/both locations you'd like to share?  

December is not usually the worst month here or in GR.  Still cold, but January and February are the coldest.  We're expected to have a milder than average winter here this year due to the El Nino so maybe you'll be OK.  

I believe there are a fair amount of hobbyists on the West side of MI (like Grand Rapids).  I think their options are a little more limited than here in Metro Detroit.  I'm guessing you'll do rather well there as well with a little pre planning and advertising.
