Doing a fundraiser/social for this years Sept. 11 Red Cross Disaster Relief fund.

What: Gorilla Karaoke Party
When: Sept. 10, 2005 8p-???
Where: Toledo, OH

This will be an advance ticket-purchase party only, open to everyone that is "known" directly by myself or other trusted collegues and friends.  Food and beverages will be provided, as will security.  I'm not sure of the ticket cost yet, as I need to guage interest and crunch numbers...but I'm thinking $50/ea. with proceeds all going to the Red Cross.

This is a GREAT idea. Depending on the quality of the party, you could ask for a $100 donation. The cause is worth it.

I am just firming up a few more details, then will be launching a full site with the info on the festivities.  This will be more then just a meet and greet...it's going to be a full out EVENT with something for everyone!  

I'm going to stick with the $50 ticket so that other money can be used for the raffle and auction (or fun before and after with some of the lovely ladies that might be around...).  I think it's a fair and resonable amount, and will be trying to defer as much of the cost through donations as I can.
