Majestic Theatre area has always been good to me. The venue itself has a lot of history to it. The type of artist they draw are ones that are semi under the radar and only draw less than a thousand people at a time. The restaurant and bowling alley attached to it are full of good eats and fun. Parking across the street usually safe. An honorable mention could go out to a place behind the Fox theatre called The Rusted Crow. Their Moscow mule is the best.... How about you Cori?

I don't live in Detroit any more, but get back there pretty regularly.  

Next time I think I'm going to check out The Corner and Detroit Axe in Ferndale.
