Made a quick run a week ago. Saw Teresa (Tania's friend) and a new hotty (Wendy) at the Mermaids on 8th St. Great time had in both cases. Slept at the Pueblo Amigo, very comfortable as usual.

Do you drive to TJ??? If so I have found this new motel. that is the BEST by far. Its called La Mansion. $38.00 per night. BRAND NEW!  I have stayed at Pueblo Amigo. To me its too expensive for what you get but its convient, helps to have the Restuarant in the morning there.

Glad to hear you had a good time.  I've seen Teresa twice and enjoyed both my visits.  I've nothing but praise for all the TJ Internet girls that I've seen but, for some reason Tresa and I really hit it off. (I hope you'll post a review so I know if mine was a unique experience or it others find her as enjoyable as I have.) If I remember correctly Jessica at Mermaids is a favorite of yours (I've never been able to find her) and hope Wendy was a good substitute. I've enjoyed--and benefited from--your recommendations. Thank you.  Perhaps one day our paths will cross in TJ.

Mr. John,

We all know that you love La Mansion, it sounds like a great place. I support your right to espouse your opinions freely here. Is it truly your intention to bring up this hotel's name every time someone mentions where they stayed in TJ? You should be capable of understanding why so many here question your motives in continuing to bring up this hotel's name whenever you have the chance.

As I said before, we all know that you love the place. Now, please...give it a rest.

No, I don't drive over. I have heard good things about La Mansion and would like to check it out but is it only a "drive-in" hotel or can you walk up and get a room?

I pay $80 a night at the Pueblo Amigo. Yeah, it would be nice if that were $40 but it's a very comfortable place to eat and rest and I don't mind the expense especially as I get down to TJ so infrequently.

Hi, Burt... Yes, I posted a review of Teresa. A definite repeat! Indeed, I was on the hunt for Jessica on my last visit. I even allowed myself to be taken around by a street hustler (not recommended but I was thinking with the wrong head) who said he knew her and that she was at the 8th St Mermaids... of course she was not but that's how I met Wendy who made me forget Jessica for the evening. It would be nice to meet you, Burt, and throw back a couple beers and compare notes in person. BTW, for anyone who enjoys MP/jacuzzi entertainemnt, there were a couple of other very hot girls at the 8th St Mermaids... looked like early 20-something Latina surfer/party girls.

I tried to get a room there on a Friday and was told that it would be $65. for 5 hours.  No TLN.  Mi amigas seem to appreciate the Pueblo Amigo for its classy atmosphere and good food.

Hi donjuan151, I never stay in TJ over night. Due to cost versus a quick trolley trip to a 40.00 safe motel in CA. Could I have some more info on the $38.00 place is it guest friendly. What is the location and phone no. Does it have a web site. Is a little english spoken. I use CC& adelitas I can provide lots of info on Costa Rica.
Thanks Tom
