Couple of weeks ago went - arrived around 1pm until 5pm - Came w a friend and we went to Hong Kongs and adelitas.  I had no problems.  My friend left early around 3:30 pm.  While in taxi he was pulled over by the police and asked to get out.  He was searched and put in back of police car.  He offered to pay a fine but no reason was given.  They drove around for 15 min than pulled over and let him go.  He was not harmed and no money taken but he was worried and bothered by this hassle.  He took another cab and crossed w no incident.  Has anyone else been hassled for no apparent reason.
