Can anyone recommend  decent affordable hotels

that are provider friendly in Mexicali? Also,

are there parking lots on the U.S side of the

border, and can I easily get a cab at the

border to my hotel ? Or is it close and safe

enough to walk to my hotel?

I don't know Mexicali but our clients have been using a Hotel Colonial recently.  They are chica friendly for sure and I believe it is around $30 to $40 for the night.  Again, not sure where it is, but it is said to be close to the border...any taxi driver should know where it is.

Mexicali is a lot more spread out than TJ. Nothing is within walking distance there. Plus it's 90-100 degrees there for 6 months out of the year.
