I am trying to find out more about meet & greet events (what they are etc..) . Do you know if there is a thread that already covers this subject ?

I am new to the idea of meet and greets and I am curious.  Are any of them where you just go and just meet and mingle with providers with the idea of just getting to know each other to help facilitate a future intimate encounter?  That sex is not a part of these meet and greets or am I way off base.  I know from the board that some of these include sex and there is a prescribed donation before admittance, but is this the norm?
Are any of these just to talk and just get to know one another?

They are essentially cocktail parties where the male guests are hobbyists, and the woman are providers.  The main purpose in attending is to have a fun night out, and meet potential new partners that you might wish to contact afterward to meet.  Afterward could mean immediately afterward, or days, weeks, even months later.  Most M&G's fall into this category, and are held either in a public venue such as a bar or club, or sometimes a more private setting such as a hotel suite.  The former requires you to act as you would at any other event in public, while the latter usually affords more latitude in discussions and actions.  In any event, conducting yourself as a gentleman is not only expected, but will pay dividends when it comes time to contact the ladies you meet at these events for more personal encounters.    

The sex party "M&G's" you describe are a different type of event, are limited to 10 to 20 people at most, and generally require extensive screening as well as deep pockets.  These are not really M&G's per se, but rather private parties.  Oftentimes, there are more traditional M&G's that occur the following day/evening, depending on the host's preferences.  

If you wish to conduct further research, it would be a good idea to read over the posts on this board for the past couple of years, and cross reference any that stand out against posts about those M&G's on the home board for that area, from that time frame.  Often, in the days after a memorable and successful M&G, attendees will post to express their appreciation to the host/hostess for their efforts, and sometimes to hint about afterparty glories.

...There is no sex at all.  Everyone is on their best behavior.  Hugs and a few pecks are as far as it goes.  It's like a cocktail party or speed dating except almost every "date" you meet is a sure thing.

If any meetings are arranged for after the M&G, it is done with the utmost discretion.  You wouldn't know it if it was happening right next to you.

Your first three posts on TER are inquiring about M&G's. You started one on the Philly board and one on the NJ board.
Interesting that your immediate focus is on them, not about seeing a provider or how to get into the hobby. I could be wrong, but I find your posts to be highly suspicious.

A provider that I see regularly told me about them and since I am in proximity to the two boards mentioned, I thought I would try to find out more.  Just curious.
