Hello Folks,

After much thought, I have decided to take a step back from hosting the LA Meet and Greets.  I appreciate all of the compliments that I have received and judging by the attendance, a lot of people have enjoyed themselves at get togethers.  I've hosted over a dozen parties and its just time for someone else to do it.

Basically, I just want to go to a party and enjoy myself instead of running around and being pulled from here to there.  And being married, I always worry that for some reason I won't be able to host the party at the last minute.  Its always in the back of my mind.

I want to thank all who have attended my parties in the past.  Especially the ladies.  Because without you, there would be no party.  I know all the gents appreciate you giving up an evening to attend.

Astra, as seasoned hobbiest who has hosted many private parties, has graciously agreed (and no, I didn't twist his arm) to take over hosting duties.  He will do a wonderful job and y'all will forget about me very quickly.  

I would like to turn over my master list to Astra so that he doesn't start from scratch.  I have to clean up the list a bit, but I would like to send the list to him by mid September.   Therefore, anyone who has attended my parties in the past will get an email asking for permission to transfer their info (email and handle) to Astra.  If u don't want to, just let me know and u won't be included in the changeover.

I think thats it.  Rest assured, I am not leaving and whenever someone needs help planning a party, I am always available.

Thanks for your hard work Bond!  Your M&G's set the bar -- Astra has big shoes to fill.

I was sorry to miss last week's event and want to (again) add my thanks to what I am sure will be a chorus of praise commending you on the excellent job you have done and the class act that you are.  I'll look forward to being a fellow guest with you at Astra's next party.

Although I've never attended one of your parties, it's obvious you've been a class act!  Having been to many M&G's in Vegas, I know what a pain it can be to successfully manage them.  It's pretty much a thankless job.  So..............

You have always been such a gracious host and worked so hard at creating wonderful get togethers for us.  I would like to have an M & G in your honor in San Francisco.  Please let this be my invitation for you to kick off your shoes, sip your martini and just enjoy the views for a change.

I'm new to the M&G scene and would like to join in. Realizing that you are phasing out your hosting but have had tons of experience I was hoping that you could point me in the best direction for quickly getting invited.

I'd really appreciate your advice and think I would be an excellent addition to the party.
