So I have this idea that may or may not fly depending on your perspective.  Interested in constructive feedback.

Do Meet and Greet's have to be in a private place?

My idea is to have a M&G at a local strip club that is having a touring porn star:

This simplifies the M&G.  No organizing.  Just have a special code/article of clothing that indicates that you are "TER friendly" and would like to chat it up with like-minded individuals.  For example the article could be an american flag on your clothing.  Or something less obvious like a red dot on your shoe; or more obvious depending on your perpsective, lol.

I have been to one M&G in NYC years ago; it was ok.  Not worth $100.

but I cant imagine any high end provider ($800 plus an hour) or even medium priced ones at $5-600 an hour would attend a M&G at a strip club, but good luck if you can make it happen!

Its happened in LV a couple of times.  But LV is unique.  Haven't heard of any other M and G from this site being held at a Strip Club.

Possible scenario's playing out:

1.  Provider finds herself able to go to designated strip club on date designated as Baltimore M&G.  She finds someone to go with her (client or friend).  Pays the cover charge.  She sees a "non-creeper" looking guy wearing a lapel that tells her that he is familiar with TER; or is there in part because of the Baltimore M&G.  They introduce themselves to each other.  No illegal talk.  They contact and screen each other at later time given that they "like" each other.

2.  I make it out to the place.  I see a "normal" looking guy or girl with the wrist band or lapel letting me know they are here in part for the M&G.  Guy; we exchange stories and intel and share a cold one.  Girl; we mingle and decide we want to meet up at a later time.

Pros:  No big financial investment and no commitment, to attendees and/or would be planners.
Cons:  None really except for the unlikely hood of LE presence

There is entertainment there already with the feature dancer.  It would be nice to have several providers attend, but shooting the shit with like minded pleasure seekers can be fun too

While I like the concept of M&G's in general, I can see a few snags with this idea.

(1)  Getting the provider in the door.  Many strip clubs frown upon (or outright prohibit) unescorted ladies from entering.  I know that's the case on The Block, but I'm sure you're looking at a more upscale location.  If Fantasies (or wherever) has that kind of ban, I guess you would need to pair up each lady with a gent to escort her in.  And out.  That could be a logistical problem.

(2)  The club ownership may frown on such a gathering.  They may see a bunch of people occupying floor space but conversing among themselves and not paying attention to the stage, and the dancers (both house dancers and any featured star) end up not getting tipped.  I'm sure club ownership wants to see tip money flowing to the stage.

There's also some potential legal liability for the club as well if party attendees start misbehaving (flashing, making out, etc).  No club wants to lose a liquor license.

I'm not trying to be a downer.  It's just my two cents.  If you can make it work, more power to you!

I remember one, the highlight of the evening was you collecting a boatload of presents for needy kids . Kudos to u for the great effort u made on behalf of those kiddies

There is nothing simple about hosting a SAFE M&G. Speaking from experience, it takes a lot of time and commitment to screen each guest in order to keep the party safe for all who attend

Just to be frank there is never really a safe m&g. The one I went to in NYC years ago, did all the screening etc.  But when it came down to it, if you are there with your money they will not turn you down.  I mean how will they know that I am "Sonic" when I get there?  I'm sure there are ways, but there are just as many ways to circumvent security measures.  

I think when I got to the location they just took my money and let me access to the upstairs section.

Meet and Greets are also about hobbyiests meeting and exchanging intel too.

My idea is this:

Have a Meet & Greet at a Disclosed Strip Club and date that happens to be on the same day a porn star is feature dancing.  The reason for the porn star featuring, is that it would add an incentive for people on the fence to come out anyway if the M&G is a bust.  Have people wear an American Flag or something identifying if they want it to be known they are a TER member/provider, etc.  Their choice obviously.

For example, if I see a  girl (provider) who is wearing (lets say a yellow band on her arm/indicator) and want to strike up a conversation I approach her and say hi, etc.  She gets a good vibe from me and if she chooses she can say she is here for the "meet and greet" or "mixer".  Or she can deny.  Even at an offical M&G, nothing illegal is talked about.  It in the truest sense is just a meet and greet.

Screening, etc should happen again later.  Just because someone is at a M&G doesn't mean no more screening.  Being there helps, but isn't final.  Unless the provider just goes with her instinct, which isn't a bad thing either.

No prepaid venue to worry about.  No $100 entry fee.  If 10 hobbyiests and only 1 provider show up, oh well.  Most hobbyiest's enjoy seeing naked girls anyway, lol.  If its a bust its a bust.  I imagine people who show up are clients who enjoy going to strip clubs anyways.

With this type of M&G, is an announcement of providers attending necessary?  

Tough call on that one for security reasons.  I mean the goal here is for providers to connect with clients.  Maybe only the clients wear an identifying article of clothing?  For example, if I was a provider and saw a nice man wearing the article of clothing I might approach him and ask him what that is about.. and that can be the ice breaker.  The client can either pretend he doesn't know what she is talking about and vice versa.

Maybe we can have a thread of clients that are going?  And providers can decide if it is worth their time going.

It is an idea that I can't really find flaws in.  At a real meet and greet you can't play dumb they know why you are there.  At this type of thing I am describing, you can mingle, research, or enjoy naked girls.

Thoughts

I have set up some M&G's at strip clubs as a daytime lunch and afternoon get together.   Some were good attendance.  Will do again soon.

Pro's: They are easy for arranging a section just for us, tables together and free admittance with management.
      Low key mingle of guys and gals.
      Ladies get get excited looking at the beautiful dancers. (G)
      Guys get excited also and want to have a afternoon session with an attendee. (GG)


Cons:  People saying they are coming and not showing after a too large of a section saved and management not happy.
      Music so loud that you have to holler to chat with everyone.
     
Pro or Con depending!  Most allow smoking.

 1)  I or someone always escort the ladies in the door as that is the gentleman thing to do. They call when they arrive in the parking lot and someone goes out for them. Management at the clubs I use allow ladies to attend.

 2)  Management liked our group for the lap dances for the ladies and guys.   BUT Mostly for the food and beverage sales.

 Liability no different than couples not in our group.

  But I am only speaking for myself, the guys and gals, and the Clubs in Atlanta

I have been to a few M&G's in Atlanta, NY and LV that have all been hosted in a strip club. The best one was a few years ago in Atlanta at The Pink Pony...Wow, Now that was a night! And as I see it there aren't to many cons to people meeting up having a cold brew or martini while looking at ass & tits, there is nothing illegal about like minds mingling!
