All systems are Go. Actually they are Go, Go and Go.
Contrary to a few rumors ( proving again that most hobby rumors are WRONG ! ) the party is not cancelled and never was.

I've been too busy getting things nailed down to my satisfaction, to worry about allaying every little fear or dispelling every little rumor. In fact, I sort of let the rumor mill just run on and almost, sort of let it bea passive misinformation campaign for security reasons.Secondly I took some oif the critiques to heart and avoided the continual updates with every twist and turn.

I dealt with a few glitches and tweaked the location and ended up with a place with MORE privacy; a hot tub and much easier parking.About a mile from where we were going to be.

We will now be able to have a Friday night cocktail party; the Big Event= Pool party & BBQ on Saturday and a Rehab Sunday.At the Saturday party everyone will get a raffle ticket for door prizes. Hang onto it.It will entitle you to free admission on Sunday. Otherwise there will be a separate fee for Rehab Sunday.As with the Friday night cocktail party. It is not, repeat NOT, an EWS type event. Inter alia, it will be much, much, much more affordable. lol.

The verified have been in touch and are good to go. You know WHEN to PM or e-mail me for the address and password. I am holding the Guest List open for another week or so. Anyone who wants to join us, please PM me.

There are NO overnight accomodations left at the house. Anyone who wants info on several very nice places in easy driving distance, please PM me.Those who have already made arrangements and have reservations, you are all set.

The Guest List will be closed on Friday, June 11.

If you are planning on coming and doing more than just the doggy paddle i.e. you want to be involved in ALL party games and activities, please PM me by next Wed. June 2. If you are just meeting and greeting, the Guest list will be open until the 11th.

These were already posted on April 10, 2010 under "Wow ! Further Info". They will be in full force and effect with any minor changes noted below. Nothing terribly profound or exotic. Just common courtesy and basic common sense. Any questions, please ASK. No such thing as a "dumb" question afaic.

The basic schedule is :
Friday night Cocktail Party - fee and hours via e-mail or PM.
Saturday Pool Party & BBQ.
Rehab Sunday. If you attend Sat. it is FREE. Otherwise there will be a moderate fee.No event is going to go on into the "wee hours". I neither want nor need any trouble with the neighbors. That's why they invented the "After Party".

There are NO overnight accomodations at the house.
The few that were available have all been spoken for. There are three nice places within 5 minutes =1 mile of the house. PM me for the names and numbers. There are plenty of other within very easy driving distance.Anyone who seriously wants to reserve a room will get enough location info to permit intelligent planning via PM.  

As I've posted, there is absolutely NO SMOKING inside the house. You may smoke OUTSIDE only, BUT please do not congregate in front of the house. We don't want to do anything to attract any sort of unwanted attention. There is plenty of room in  the backyard for that; and certain other things.

Ladies who plan to do more than just socialize should have gotten in touch with me already. I will consider last minute hardship "sob stories" on a case by case basis for another week.

If all you wish to do is splash around, eat, drink and socialize, the Guest List will remain open for another week.

I'm sorry to any lady who did not get in touch in time. We cannot have an infinite number of ladies entertaining on site. I've done my best to keep things in a healthy balance for the good of all i.e. keep a nice ratio of guys to gals.I've accomodated as many last minute requests as I possibly could. Any more would NOT be fair to all the ladies who got their ducks in a row and got in on the ground floor.

An addendum to the basic "do's" & "don'ts" previously posted : The bathrooms are designed and intended for single occupancy and use. They are NOT to be used as recreational areas.

A few of you want to attend but have open "verification" issues. Don't worry. As long as you contacted me before the deadline, I will hold the door open for you until your verifications come through.

That is very nice of you to hold the door open, but the  most important concern for all the attendees is that you "DO" chlorinate the pool........you know.
