The ladies looked amazing and the venue was top notch. It was classy, sexy and seductive,. Thanks to everyone who put the event together. Now, on to my winter to do list.
I highly doubt the girls would be willing to pay the $100.00 up front. It's always been free for the girls. Yes, it will be refundable. I believe if you did that you won't get as many girls that will show up? That's my own opinion! I have been going to them the past 7 years. Yes, I have noticed it has sometimes been a less ratio of girls than previous. It's just sometimes location or day of event that girls cannot make it. Unfortunately, their will always be a 4-1 ratio of guys to girls.

the party was in a great place and we all so much appreciate all the work AR and Astra did. Its amazing such events are held. However as in the past, the percentage of girls that show up relative to how many SAY they are going to show up was still very low.
This is a unique event in the history of marketing. Any biz event i ever go to the sellers often outnumber the buyers or at the very least the vendors all show up when they promise.
The only suggestion I can think of is to make it a $100 deposit for a girl to get her name listed on the M&G board as being someone who will attend. Its totally refundable upon arrival. This does two things ... 1) the girls have some skin in the game (pun intended) and 2) gives a truer reflection of how many and who will be there.
The ratio of guys to girls wasn't that much different from most typical social event parties.
I am totally open to suggestions .. this is just my 2 cents .. maybe this will inspire a better idea from someone else.
This will always be an open ended question. What will not work is charging the ladies up front for attendance. Nobody is going to do that. Its really no different than when a lady asks for a deposit up front. Many if not most gents will not do that. The things that would have to be done to put something like this in place is large and I don't think any M and G host would do it. I certainly would not.
As a host, we usually plan for about 50% ladies attendance and 65% Gents attendance. For my parties, its been as high 70% ladies and 75% gents. But that was very unusual. Uusally its very close to the 50 and 65. Usually the gent to lady ratio is 1.5 to 1 or something like that. Maybe a bit less.
This is not a perfect science. A lot of it is just pure luck. I can't see how we can make it any better.
It's just an ideology that we could slow down time during good times like this party and have more fun and enjoy life to the fullest. M&G's always remind me how beautiful life could be.
