After hosting the last Ct M & G in May and having it turn out so nicely, I was thinking of hosting a New Jersey pool M & G sometime this summer. It would be discrete and drama free like the May event. Any interest? I am still planning on a Fall Ct M & G as well.

Last year, the same dude that hosted the last mixer in NYC held a similar event. As I'm sure you know, his near daily posts in the days and weeks in advance may have led to the raid by LE.  

Since I am from NJ, I would be leery about attending an M&G there if I had to drive any significant distance afterward to get to nearby hotels.  I've been caught up in LE DUI checkpoints before, and escaped by the skin of my teeth more than once.  The one M&G I did attend in NJ was held at a house that was large enough to allow the majority of the attendees to crash there for the night, and transportation to NYC for those that needed to get back there was pre-arranged in advance.  These would be issues you would need to take into account.  As for the party itself, I have no doubt re: your discretion.

Personally, I would recommend NYC as the better venue.  With the Mixer scene essentially dead unless TBM steps up to the plate and revives it, holding a smaller M&G there in a hotel suite or some local bar might be the better move.    Just sayin"....

your advice-much appreciated. I was thinking either NJ or NY, but having attended most of the NY M & G mixers, as much as I always enjoyed them and appreciated all the hard work TBM put into them, I wanted to host a party that was in a place other than a bar. I thought NJ offered more options in terms of venue; ie- renting a nice house. It was just an idea that I thought I would throw out there to gauge interest. No biggie if people aren't interested. I'm happy to stick with hosting more Ct mixers. Thanks again for your input and advice!

I did attend a very nice M&G Pool party about 2 years ago in NJ. Everything seemed to work out that day , great weather good crowd etc.  I would hope someday someone can have another, maybe smaller Group with great pool and privacy. I would attend!
