I received the official invite email, thanks. I met Jimmy at the Carolinas M&G that I co-hosted with Funtimes61. I just wanted to be sure my email was received and that I was on the list. As for my friend, well... the M&Gs are posted on a public board. ANYONE can see it and inquire about attending. Which she did, was verified, and will be attending. So no one randomly "invited" anyone else. I don't show up at private gatherings with random friends in tow. Thanks for the concern though!

Apparently our host was busy diving somewhere, as Dakota suggested.  I guess all's well that ends well.  Regarding social courtesies these days, nothing much surprises me after seeing some of the behavior of a few of the invitees at his last M&G.  If you and your friend are coming, Have fun!
