Start small,
Get a few girls together and invite your best clients out for drinks to introduce then to each other. It'll grow from there.

I'll join a M&G for the LA Area. mainly because i'm new to this hobby and i would like to meet some of the providers and get a sense of feeling of what kind of providers i will encounter other then whats already writen on the newbie boards.

Since i'm in the business of free lance web design, i'll even help make a message board for the M&G for the LA Area.
