After some reading of the Toys for Tots web site and I believe the toys should be unwrapped. I think they request this to be sure the toy is new, age and sex appropriate and has no safety recalls on the toy (believe me there are a lot of these recalls). Also if your toy requires batteries please consider bringing some appropriate batteries also.

Please correct me if I am wrong.
