Never did the AMP thing before. I went and just got a wash/massage.  

Not really sure how the whole thing works. Should I go again since they will know me now or just skip that one.

I may sort of look like a cop, I work out and was wearing decent clothes, I heard that is a no-no and I should show up looking pretty raggy.

Just not sure if I should try again or if that is a waste. It's close to my house so I'm hoping I can make it work out. I saw one or two reviews that said they do at least a HJ.

Generally at an amp you should have received much more than you did. It is definitely a possibility that they thought you were LE. I wouldn't recommend showing up "looking raggy," but try not to look like a cop. Did you get hard when she was washing you? Did you try grabbing her or fondling? Did she throw any hints? "What do you want?" "What are you looking for?" "How much do you have to spend?" Any comments about your "member." Generally they will not cone right out and ask, "Do you want a blow job?"  

Also, not all AMPs are created equal. Different areas of the country have different kibd of AMPs as far as what is available service wise. Some are HJ, some BJ, some full service. In Hawaii, you can generally expect full service at any AMP, and many offer DFK, DATY, BBBJ, and more.

Forget the AMP's. Total Waste of Time and Money. For what you pay at an AMP, you can find yourself an Awesome Provider that will do most anything you want. I know most of you Guys think Asian Girls are Gorgeous. I don't think they're all that. And I'm Asian. LOL!!!!!

There are many ways to participate in this hobby. Why try to push your way on someone else? Some guys line AMPs. Some guys like indies. Some guys like agencies. Some like streetwalkers. Some guys like to get pissed on. Some like to get shit on!

Besides your statement is totally false. At least here. A good indy or agency GFE provider is 300-500 per hour here. At an AMP you can get full GFE treatment (DFK, DATY, DATO, rimming, BBBJ, multi position CFS--and some even do BBFS) plus a a shower and massage to boot, for 150+50 house = 200 total.

It seems that the SOPs at the AMPs differ from region to region.  

In some places, they are more spa-like.  You go in, pay the HOUSE fee (usually less than or up to 100, depending on location).  As you are being showered or massaged, other stuff MIGHT happen but you somehow have to get the conversation going because each masseuse will be different.  If all you paid was the HOUSE fee, then you got what you paid for: a shower and a massage!  Some girls will NEVER be the first to bring up services or money but wait for the customer to ask about extra services.  Others might be a little more daring and drop hints or invites.  The girls make extra by tips for extra services.  

In other places (NYC), there are spa-like places but also plenty of AMPs with a well worked out routine: two calls to get there, enter, to the room, undress for shower, shower, back to room, FULL flat-rate fee up front (HOUSE plus masseuse fee), masseuse leaves the room for a few minutes and returns with supplies; she knows what to do from there on!

"High end" AMPs in NYC have yet another SOP.

I'm sure there are other variations on the AMP theme.

I suggest you ask on your closest regional board what the SOP is at the local AMPs.  You should be VIP and read the DETAILED reviews of the local AMP experiences.  If the reviewer isn't explicit ("I had to ask her to do more." or "I didn't have to say a thing and she knew what I wanted next."), you can always send a PM and hope for a friendly reply

I don't know where ROGM is located but I disagree with his generalization.  I have had extra-extraordinary AMP experiences, even at the low end, plain and simple.  Other times, if I'm in a hurry, I just want something easy and reliable: AMPs are there.  My most Awsome Provider is a high end AMP girl.

I read a "tutorial" for amps and pretty much everything was spot on, the layout and everything. But the girl at the little window was the girl that took me to the room and did everything, I kept assuming another girl would come out so it sort of threw me off. Everything I read said the "mamasan" would just lead you to the room, then another girl would take over. She was decent looking and not old, so not sure what was up.

I've never gone to one before but I sort of knew there where signals you had to do, thinking back I guess I missed some of them. She wasn't explicit at all though, no talking about any action. I think I get it now.

But should I try again at the same place or is that bridge burned if you strike out once?

I will see if I can find out the SOP on the regional boards like you suggested.

What suburb?  What is the name of the AMP?  I frequent a few AMPs in the W. burbs of Chicago and so may be able to share some info.  PM me if you have VIP.

Many gals are afraid to do or say anything that could be interpreted as a come on; so you have to get the ball rolling.

After the flip, look at them and smile and see if their eyes meet yours.  If so, then just ask if any extras are available for generous men.

If they nod, then you're in like Flynn.

If they shake their heads, then that isn't your kind of place.  Move on.

You should absolutely try again. There is no such thing as "striking out" - by becoming a repeat visitor, you definitely increase your chances of getting what you want.

Strip naked, don't leave your underwear on. Any time her hands go anywhere near your junk, moan and squirm a little; don't be a bad actor, just let her know that it is welcome and feels good. When she is in range, let your hands lightly caress her calves, or whatever part of her leg is handy. As long as you don't meet any resistance, keep fondling lightly and try to maneuver your hands closer and closer to her ass.

As far as tipping goes, it varies from area to area. But the girl will find a way to let you know that she wants to be tipped in advance, if extras are in fact available. Otherwise, you have to try to do some research and find out what the going rate is.

I think that some of the AMP's in my area are great, they have really beautiful women, no appointment necessary, and they don't even cost more than seeing an independent provider when you total the room fee+the tip.  But one time I tried a new AMP in a different part of town closer to where I live, they asked if I have been there before, I said no, but I go all the time to the ones over in the xyz part of town normally, she kind of laughed and said that she knows what goes on where I normally go, but at her place, they just give massages only, nothing else, and she doesn't want me to get mad at her, because sometimes men get mad at them.  I was there already and figured what the hell, so I got a descent massage and then I left.  I went back a 2nd time a month later, to see if it was just a fluke that one time, and the 2nd time it was the same exact deal again.  I never knew that there was such a thing as a "legit" AMP, but I guess they exist.  I think the give away is going to be in finding out where they advertise.  Namely if you go to BP for instance, and they have ads listed under "therapeutic massage" then they will probably be a legit place, but if their ads are under "body rubs" they will offer more.  So I would say that if you went to an AMP and nothing happened, don't go back there again, go to a different one.

It's a tough call. I have not done the Massage Parlor rounds since 2004, but it looks like I might be again soon  
I think AMP's are part science and part art. You can't be pushy yet you definitely want to give them signals that you are open to a more complete massage.  
As my Lover has left me I am going to start checking out some the new places I have seen pop up in the city. I will PM if I get any info.
