I was wondering if which area is the preferred area with the DMV?  I visited last summer and stayed in the Tysons corner area which I thought was also considered the DC area but the locals said it was not. Lol I got requests to host in both the Dc area and Baltimore.  Apparently the areas (Tyson’s, Dc, & Baltimore) aren’t close enough?  I’m thinking about visiting again but not sure which area is best.  I love to stay near restaurants and bars or shopping.  Any suggestions would be great!  Thanks in advance !

I certainly consider it to be the DC area. Same with BWI. I live in DC and would rather not see anyone in the city (or the city of Baltimore either). I'd rather drive to Tyson's or BWI.

I know a lot of ladies no longer come to DC because of crime and parking and hotel costs. Tyson's is certainly a good spot and many ladies tour there. Some good shopping there too. I'm not a bar person but there are plenty of restaurants so I'm sure there are some good bars.

If you don't have a vehicle, Tysons has more access to bars and shopping. Some BWI providers have started staying close to Arundel Mills (just South of BWI) that does give you access to other diversions including a casino. The hotels in Linthicum/BWI (North of BWI) are pretty much there for the nearby businesses with excellent airport accessibility and not much else. I would imagine this might be the reason you see more two and three day visits to BWI by providers and lengthier stays around Tysons.

I have had success in Arundel Mills and Tysons. Both are near shopping and entertainment options. Downtown DC has always been hit or miss for me so I’ve avoided that area over the past few years. Repeating visits to the same area has also been helpful in building up clientele. Good luck on your next tour!

Very selfish of me but I would recommend BWI or Arundel Mills. Both are 10 minutes away while Tysons and Downtown DC are 1 hour away

Some touring ladies combine--couple of days in one and a couple in another. Many clients in Tyson's (and maybe BWI too) actually drive out there from DC, so you should find a market in DC, particularly if you visit often enough to build up some regulars. Plenty of bar and restaurant choices in DC with much more variety that Tyson's or BWI, especially if you are willing to do some walking/subway travel to explore different neighborhoods. For example, one can stay near Georgetown and be close to all that has to offer, but still be close to DuPont , K Street and Foggy Bottom which provide other attractions.  And for anyone who likes art museums, DC is fantastic, whereas neither Tyson's nor BWI has that amenity.

I live in DC and honestly try not to go anywhere after dark, especially on foot or Metro. Shootings have picked up in the past few weeks and robberies and carjackings are still around. As I mentioned earlier that is why some ladies that I know now avoid DC proper.
