His point and question is valid albeit beaten to death on this and probably every other local board. Maybe he's new to this treatment and hasn't seen it discussed, I don't know. I don't blame him nor did I respond to him. I have sympathy for him because I think racism has no place in society and I truly believe that in most cases it is due to ignorance. I do believe that some people have had bad experiences which form their opinions and that is regrettable to say the least. One incident does not make an entire group of people guilty.
I myself am NOT opposed to seeing ladies of any ethnic background. I make my choices based on many factors but skin color or ethnicity are not among them.
Do I get frustrated with this "hobby shit" as you called it? Sure, we all do at some point. However, I have been doing this since 1998 on the Internet and over 25 years now total. I have seen a lot, been involved in some of it and have learned to stay out of most of it.
I am sure of myself, who I am and what I like. I became even more comfortable when I struck the right balance between my real life and this hobby. When things start to get to me, I know it's time to take a break and I have done so many times. I still hobby because of the enjoyment I get from it and when the time comes for me to move on, I will be very comfortable with that decision as well.
Now let me ask you a question.....why do you post the way you do? Something we all learned in our childhood applies here....it's not what you say, it's how you say it. If you were to "tone down" your obvious anger and find better and more accurate ways to comment on topics, you would probably get more responses in kind.
Subtle changes make a difference like with capitalization when writing for example. The meaning of the sentence "I helped my Uncle Jack off his horse" changes when you lose the capital letters...."I helped my uncle jack off his horse". See, it's not WHAT you say, it's HOW you say it.
