More than 30 Arrested in Prostitution Sting

The sting was conducted in five College Park area hotels over two days.

More than 30 people were arrested this week in a prostitution sting conducted at College Park hotels, according to Prince George's County police.

The operation was carried out in conjunction with the FBI Human Trafficking Unit

“Prostitution is a gateway crime," xxx said in a statement. “We want to let everyone know this kind of activity is not something we want in this county and we’re doing all we can to prevent it.”

As part of the operation, female officers posing as prostitutes engaged would-be johns on the phone after placing phony ads on solicitation websites.

On Wednesday, 13 men were arrested on a charge of assignation—the act of meeting up with the purpose of exchanging sex for money—and six women were arrested on prostitution charges in five College Park hotels, according police.

On Thursday night, police said 11 more men were arrested and charged with assignation and six more individuals for prostitution. All involved were adults

That's a whole lot of bust. Reverse stings seems to be drawing in a shit load of bust, but that is scary because the Johns don't know if the providers are real or not. Man, I saw some decent ads for College Park, but that area is not a good place to hobby.

That's alarming dude, and thanks for this info.

This is crazy shit!  So is sticking with reviewed ladies and ladies you've seen in the past the best way to go or is that not safe now either?

Check the rooftops before you get out of the car.  Check for guys with binoculars.  Should be ok though.

I have retired from the hobby due to all the arrests in the Mont, AA and PG counties. I am just seeing previously seen UTR girls at their homes. Screw this LE stuff!

Wow. That is a lot of people. Now people will believe me about the other stuff that has been going on in PG. They are out for blood. Use to be they never posted folks names before. They even got more on Friday. I guess folks did not pay attention to the news on Thursday !!!! Back in 2010 in the rain of theory on the hobby they were busting 50 people a month. I am sure many rights were violated and many will be thrown out in court.

Yup, I'm done with the hobby. Big head needs to do the thinking here and the reward just ain't the risk of losing everything I have worked so hard for so long to get.

There are places (Nevada and parts of Canada) where its legal (or close enough to legal) that I may chance it on, but for now the SO and my right hand will have to do.
