I'm basically still trapped in the early 90's music wise... But I've found a lot of indie 90's music recently that be ER went mainstream and I definitely dig. My taste in music changes like the wind and I'm always finding different stuff that I've never heard before.
I definitely know the place you are referring to. I'm gonna miss that place. We had some great times hanging out in there, singing and dancing. I know I didn't really come in very much in the past six months, but I'm still on my sobriety kick. I have 6 months on the first : )!!! Too bad it's closed now! On the other hand it is one less temptation or me, and probably the greatest one of them all. That place was my cheers!
As for not wanting the heart break... For me its typically a learning experience and shows me what to look out for next time around. They make me stronger and more experienced. Now I'm good at picking the good guy with the least amount of mental issues and insecurities. It's the end of one chapter and the beginning o the new. New I the best! The only for me. I'll take a million heart breaks if it meant I had the option of doing it all over again. And believe me, I'd definitely do it all over again!!
Lunch sounds awesome as long as its not on the days I'm in Ocean city with my new love, surf man. ; )

I think some songs are just multi-generational, with that one being one of them. I'm sure everyone on this board also knows Build Me Up ButterCup and You Keep Me Hangin On. Personally, I would rather hear music from the 50s, 60s, 70s and 80s (yeah, I said 80s) than most of the crap that's come out since the turn of the century.
LOL, I know Anya knows the place I'm thinking of when I say there was a place we could go where 21 year olds sat side by side with 60 year olds and sang The Temptations, The Beach Boys, Eric Clapton and Santana.
But I am OT, yes Anya, that feeling of new love is amazing. I wouldn't want to experience it a million times though because that would mean heartbreak too and that's one of the worst feelings in the world. I'll settle for a person that makes me feel brand new (and that's a pretty good song too, lol).
Hope you're doing well Anya, I'll miss you on this side of town. Seems like we'll need to grab a bite together soon, it's been too long.
