On October 20, 2011, members of the Special Enforcement Section’s Vice Unit were conducting surveillance on a room of hotel located in Linthicum. While conducting surveillance, detectives observed several male subjects approaching the room and knocking on the door at different times. Further investigation revealed that a female suspect was advertising on a social advertisement board under the escort section of a website known for prostitution.
Detectives, acting in an undercover capacity, contacted the suspect at the telephone the number in the advertisement. During the conversation, the female agreed to exchange sexual acts for U.S. currency. In a later conversation, the suspect provided detectives with the room number of the room that was previously under surveillance. Detectives responded and arrested the suspect.

Unless you're seriously trolling backpage not something most of us have to worry about. I suspect they did something rather indiscreet to attract attention in the first place. Think about it, of all the hotels in BWI they just happen to have that room under surveillance?
