I'm still fairly new to all of this, only been hobbying for about a year. There is an established agency with a thorough screening process that become my go to whenever I take the plunge. I've heard about it being 'hot' in the BWI area, and it has me paranoid. How often do these sort of agencies become compromised? And if they are compromised, how quickly does the word spread?

Most of the busts that I've read about here and in newspapers involve low level independents and rings. I haven't heard anything about busts of major agencies in AACO.

Busts become more likely when you don't screen, screen and screen some more.  There are a lot of stps you can take to minimize the risk. But great screening and your gut are two of the best tools...
