I agree that a thorough scrub and perhaps even an enema (with the original fluid removed and clean warm water substituted) are very important if requesting prostate massage.
But also, for the ladies, wearing latex or non-latex gloves for prostate massage is critical. Because even when someone does clean very well, sometimes shit happens. And a glove pulls off very easily, goes inside out, and gets tossed in the trash. It is easy to don a fresh glove. Much less disruptive than running to wash hands. Sexy black gloves in your exact size are best. For example, I have tiny hands so I prefer to use non-latex (nitrile) black gloves in size Small. I think they're super sexy. I've never seen a doctor use black gloves and I only use them to play so that's my primary association with them. Plus on a safety note, cuts in the fingers or tears around the fingernails, etc. can spread HIV and other blood-borne infections and since I am also a chef, and always have some kinda tiny cuts or scratches somewhere on my hands, it is never worth the risk for me to put my fingers inside of someone without a sexy black glove on my hand. The risk is minimal, but you never know what someone might have, so safety first, always.
I am even more shocked when men are not clean and they want my FACE down there. Guys, rub your asshole with your finger and then stick your finger under your nostrils and sniff. If it doesn't smell like roses you need to try again.
I guess this doesn't matter as much for guys who are not interested in prostate massage, but the massage is such a pleasureful and mind-blowing experience that I think it's a shame when someone is ready to try but doesn't take the time to prepare properly and then isn't able to experience it. I've been thinking about adding a page to my website about this to provide a proactive reference for guys who want to make sure they're properly prepared. Although a google search also does a pretty good job.
I've been specializing in prostate massage for a while but I just went to a class in Manhattan the other night taught by a specialist who recently wrote a book about prostate pleasure, so I'm experiencing a renewed sense of excitement (and I learned a few new tricks)!
