How about the guys who send an email at 7 am asking if they can schedule an appointment at 12 noon then wait until 11 am to cancel because of a sudden "work emergency" then never reschedule.

Cancelations happen, and I accept the excuses given.. Now, I may not believe all the excuses, but to question, is to confront, without benefit and I don't need the aggravation.
But folks, be consistent in your excuses. For example:

Tell him I' he wants Unconditional LOVE.  ....
HE better GET A PET  To FEED  !!!!

One woman cancelled on me twice. The first time I was literally walking out my door when she informed me that she's rather hang out with a friend instead.  We rescheduled and then she said she was sick.  And, this was a well reviewed provider.

"I was making cannoli and my fingers got burned in the hot oil while making the shells but that isn't the problem. Then I was cutting pistachios for the end dressing and I cut my fingers and they are still bleeding but that is still not the problem. I dropped some of the cheese cannnoli filling on the floor and slipped on it hitting my head on the counter and now do not remember my name, but that is not the problem. The problem is I ate all the cannoli at one sitting and I am too full to be of any use."

A Provider cancelled on me with the excuse;
"I'm sorry, I have to cancel our date for this afternoon.  The Grammy Awards are this weekend and all of the hotel rooms are booked in LA."

My was I can't drive on the American roads … cause you guys are the road side of the road.

People do get colds.  I was just about to book someone just recently and came down with a cold so I didn't book.  If I had booked I would have told her and canceled......that is unless she wanted a cold.

Car accident, death, emergency room, heart problems, stroke, cancer, funeral, flight change, stuck in a different city when their ip address tells another story, wrong hotel, boss saw him downstairs and sees his car, ill is always a good choice for most, you name it. And then they get mad and post threads when providers cancel.

I actually have to use this one tomorrow. I was planning on visiting A friend and on the way home go an see a provider. I'm not going because my friend's mom broke her hip. I know it sounds like a lie but it's the sad truth.

Wow. Honestly, I need to know more about this story. Did you confront her? Did you mention that you saw her at the front desk? Were you able to get another appointment? Why did she just HAVE to go fishing that day? Sorry to sound so nosy, but this story really intrigues me...

Yeah that was a good.  But since I used backpage, well......there you go.  It's a good example of why I don't use BP much.  I determined she was a legit provider and made an appointment for the next day.  When the next day came, I texted her to her the address I was meeting her at.  No response.  So after about sending about 4 text message I figured she flaked.  So my final text was something like, "yet another fine example of why I do use BP much, it full of flakes and addicts".  Then about an hour from then she sent me a text saying "ouch, that burned,  I'm so sorry but I decided to go fishing today.  But I can see you when I return".  So I decided to give her another try.

Client cancelled on me because he had a boil in-between his bum cheeks, true but bloody funny.

the most outlandish yet true reason I could not make an appointment work was when I tried my first at home waxing kit.  It was hard Brazilian wax that was stripless....  I didn't prep correctly and my kitty was stuck in a wax sticky cast  My date was crossed in feeling of irritation for the cancellation and humored by this farce....
