Hello

I am working on the next Los Angeles Meet and Greet.

Where do you think it should be?

Downtown?

West Side?

The Valley?

The Beach?

The Desert?

I would like to provide an excellent experience for all that attend.

Let me know your thoughts.

I always try to put in a plug for the valley for parties and visiting providers but seldom have any success. Seems like the west side is more convenient for a larger number of people, but moving the location around might result in a different mix of people. Why not try something in the area of the 405/101 interchange, which is reasonably close to the west side but still in the valley? Studio City might be another option, since it's just over the hill from Hollywood. Just a thought.

How about short term housing, rent a fully furnished house, so is private, nice place, maybe a pool, for $500 for one day.  I'd love to party in a modern cool Hollywood Hills or beach pad.
Assuming guys don't mind the $50 fee, for sure you have 50 guys?  That's $2,000 and we can have a wild open bar and munchies.

I have explored that idea in the past.    It won't happen at $500.  Believe me.  And the liability is huge.

My parties had 150-200 people.  Just for the house in lets say the Hollywood Hills was 4K to fit that many people.  And that didn't include the booze, food, valet parking, etc.

Its not as cheap as u think it is.

Would make it easier for the OC contingent to attend.

The biggest issue I ever had for my get togethers is getting a venue cheap enough and large enough for us to hold a private party (ie, public not allowed).  There are lots of places available, but the cost was high.  Thats one reason why I stayed with the last venue I hosted at.  Price was reasonable and while it did get crowded when everybody was there, for the most part, it worked.  And most important, it wsa private!!  Astra has some places in mind.  He knows what it takes.

Hi, There's a restaurat in Tarzana called Ancora that would be happy to do a private party during the weekday. I know the owner well. Only beer and wine and Italian food. But, it can be very private. In fact, great Italian food!

Well, u just kind of let the cat out of the bag.  U mentioned the location and the name of the restraunt.  That is not the thing we do.  The parties are very private and only the folks attending know the location and the name of the venue.
