A few guys I know from another board, in a large city in Asia who commute between that city and LA, can't get dates all of a sudden. One is a heavy hitter, too-like young internet millionaire, like 4-5 sessions a week. I would think they'd want that type of business, they couldn't get past screening.

WTF happened all of a sudden?

I haven't seen a k-girl since May.

You imply that these guys you know have seen K-girls in Los Angeles before.  Then, you say, they couldn't get past a screening.  Either they have seen L.A. k-girls before or they have not.  If they can't get past a screening, it sounds like they are new to the L.A. scene and trying to get inside.

The one that did got in to a downtown organizaton, but it was like his 6th try and he showed them his Linkedin page to verify, which seems odd.

is that this whole K-girl thing is not going to last forever.

There are articles about abuse of foreign girls all the time lately. I still have no idea if any of these girls are really abused or not - I think not and hope not. But how do we really know what goes on? The girls seem fine and comfortable is all I have ever seen, but sometimes I read stories in the news and it makes me wonder.

There are federal immigration laws being challenged here, as well as local laws, so the scene is an ongoing risk.

That makes it more complicated and difficult for the bookers.

I am not the least bit surprised that they are worried and extraordinarily careful.

They need to be.

But the reality is that they will never be careful enough to prevent the inevitable slam of the system that will happen eventually.

As far as the k-girls I have talked to, They are under no pressure to
stay or are being forced into what they do except maybe under
circumstances in their lives be it high debt or whatever.

I am sure the negative aspects of this hobby pops up but I have seen
it rarely in the K-world. Does it happen? Sure it does and in those
instances it is the time to make sure you act or report it.

My observation on this board is that when HT is brought up, the
assumption is always towards the asian population or providers. why?
HT is prevalent all over the world including the good ol United States
of America. If you want to bring it up, bring it up as a whole.

I know that MrED didnt specifically mention kgirls and said FOREIGN girls to make his point but let us not also forget the people in our own backyards as well..

Remember as well, there are hobbyists who are jerks, assholes and predators...
