have even had dinner and lunch and hell even played golf with some great guys! I need to do the golf thing again!

At the risk of sounding gay I wonder if anyone out there is interested in setting up a "buddy system" with me to assist in our mutual pursuit of the hobby. (If so, PM me or respond here.) I've been a member of TER for about seven months now and, as much as I enjoy the online fraternity, I could use a friend in the offline world who understands what we do here.

I am sure I'm not the only one who keeps this stuff secret from everyone. Even my closest friend who knows just about everything else that I have ever done, does not know about this. So, first and foremost, I am looking for a friend to share HONEST stories and trade information about various aspects of the L.A. scene -- the best ladies, best locations, how to avoid pitfalls, etc.

Another benefit might be having someone to call in the unlikely event that one of us winds up at the gray bar hotel. I have often wondered, "Who would I call if that happened??" Surely not my S.O. Not anyone in my family. Maybe my best friend, but then I'd have to lie to him or come clean about the reason for my unfortunate situation. No, I'd much rather have a buddy here that I could rely on. This also would allow us to TOFTT every once in a while with less anxiety about getting caught in a sting. I will commit to bailing you out if you will do the same for me!  

If anyone else agrees that this would be a valuable friendship, please do get in touch. FYI - I spend most of my time hobbying in West L.A., Mid-Wilshire and the SF Valley.
