It's too bad AIM has been closed by the Los Angeles County Health Department.  AIM was one of the best clinics to be tested for STD's.  Hopefully, they will re-open in the near future.

AIM refused to test performers in the mouth because it is where most performers are positive and did not screen for herpes giving a false sense of security to those who tested negative for the standard tests. Performers should use the condoms and stop this nonsense of BB.

I have an AIM full panel. It does, in fact, test for herpes, as well as for syphilis and hepatitis (which are also STDs). (My AIM results are also consistent with the non-AIM testing I've done on multiple occasions.)

However, yes, if you do NOT order the full panel, you don't get tested for herpes, just HIV, chlamydia and gonorrhea by PCR. However, I know a number of performers get full panel testing beyond those three.
