Hello ladies and gentleman! I was just curious if anyone reads the content in our ads? It never fails that atleast 80 % do not read them (in my continuous experience). I feel as though my ads are very thorough and I provide all the info you need to be screened and setup an appt. I'm just curious because when people contact me (and a ton of other providers I know), why they ask stupid questions that are found right in the ad. Ex: where are you located? Do you have incall? What are your rates? What service do you provide? Etc, etc. Thanks for the feedback!

lots of people of idiots and there is nothing you can put in you ad to avoid stupid questions.  However, I'm sure most people who are serious about seeing you have read your ad in its entirety.

I tend to use P411 as a first cut with a new provider  because it gives a  quick overview of the things I care about. I just glance at the description text there though. If I am intrigued, I will look at the actual provider website. Truth is I usually look at pics first. I do read text on that website to see if the description seems like a  real person. I have avoided people based on those descriptions in the past to be honest. I don't exclusively require providers to have P411 profiles, but for me those who do are fast-tracked to a call. FWIW.

Yes, I read the ads.  And yes, you're right, a lot of the info needed is right on the ad.  I won't venture a guess why other Hobbyists don't exercise this simple act.

...that may help me decide if she is someone that I might want to see.

I recall asking you once if you ever offered incall, knowing full well that you state outcall on both your ad & site.
Sorry - I had to take a shot ;)

their blood travels south, it leaves too little in their heads to operate their brain, and reading is one of the potential casualties.

Since you brought it up, what are some of the "stupid" questions you have been asked.

If its a back page ad with a bunch of emojis and statements like ITS ME OR ITS FREE, YOUVE TRIED THE REST NOW TRY THE BEST, or BACHELORS BEST FRIEND, MARRIED MANS BEST KEPT SECRET, then im probably gonna say fuck that. Lots of ads have shit information and more and more ads dont even advertise rates, and if its a personal website with a 3 page bio about spiritual connections and shit im gonna just assume youre a pretentious provider looking for some deeper meaning to getting railed for a living.

to see, then yes I try to gather as much information as possible to determine if I should continue the pursuit.
I assume like most clients we all have some type of check list to determine who they would like to see.

No not at all. I was hoping that you'd say that you do offer incalls but only on a very limited basis. I have asked some gals in the past who don't normally offer incalls if they could make an exception and we worked it out. I figured if I don't ask I'll never know. Again - apologies for that.

I look for the booking requirements, menu of services offered (particularly duos),  rates, and incall vs. outcall. All the other fluff disappears.

but I was asking about specific examples so we know what the threshold is for "stupid."

No rates and I have to wonder why even advertise. And as for burying the pictures or making them password protected that lady just whiffed on my business. As for all the world traveler, phD, spiritual enlightenment stuff it's like the sound Charlie Brown's teacher makes.

I completely agree that I pay ZERO attention to the crap about being "elite, low volume, well traveled" yada yada yada.  and I further agree that if a guy is so dumb as to lead with "how much?" in his opening email, you "can't fix stupid" and it's foolish to even try, so hitting delete is the only proper response to those type of emails.

I am 100% guilty of skimming most ads/websites for the things I find important, but I am smart enough to at least search for the answer to any questions I might have rather than asking if she can see me tomorrow night when her ad plainly says "I am available 9-5 ONLY"

to read, but have the energy to ask questions.  They need hand holding.

I have placed ads on Craiglist selling stuff and I always put in as much information as possible.  And, I'll almost always get questions that are already answered in the ad.  What are the dimensions are or whatever.

One item always found me fielding emails asking if I was open to trades even after I updated the ad stating that I'm not interested in any trades.  I thought it was someone playing a joke on me after a while.  Some unlucky person got to experience my unloading on them.  NO TRADES!  It's right in the ad!
