My shopping trip was cut short before I even got to the shopping center!  Some guy grabbed my purse and ran off!  a thug in gangster clothes with  tattoos on his face. I filed a police report but doubt anything will come of it.  Grrrrrrr!!!  And i NEVER take the bus.  I guess he saw "tourist" written on my face.   Grrrrrrr!  Sorry,  girls.

Bus trips are not always nice. ... hope you get your stuff back.

He tossed my purse at a passing girl as he ran.  I still have my iPad and phone.  But I had a pouch of cash that was taken.  Not smart to carry it with me, I know.  

I was omw to the south bay galleria.  The hotel guy told me how to get there and said it would be easy.  A  guy waiting at the station  said he would show me how to get there faster, and that it was on his way.  I don't know LA and was far too trusting.  Bad guy  road the bus with me and  we got off to "switch to a different bus"  where he grabbed my pure and ran into a neighborhood.  Apparently a super bad area to be in.

I still love to shop and eat...  Just can't afford to now...  So this would be on a sugar daddy, hahaha.  Would be fun.

I think its the iPad that attracted them.  Downtown LA is not exactly the place to go take a bus and go around shopping.  I would have taken you around to your destination without any issues.  I know you cannot trust anyone but I am willing to go through for screening if that would help.

You should have been more patient and waited for a hobbyist or local provider to go with you. I would have been willing to do so.  Or, next time you're in LA, rent a car or take a cab.  I feel for you, I was mugged last year and it's a horrible feeling. Thankfully you're safe and were not hurt.  Money and things can always be replaced.
