I was 'trick or treating' on Halloween and ran across an "available now" post on another site for Paula Jolie.  Her photos looked great and although there wasn't much text, I decided to drop her a line and ask for a date.  
Along with my introduction and references, I asked 2 questions.  First, is this lady the same Paula Jolie, TER-238622?  That seemed innocent enough.  The second was if she is the same lady seen in the ad link?

. . . by asking your questions.  You were basically asking her if her ad was truthful or bogus.  You had the photos, and you had the link.  Why insult her by the "suggestion" she's not being truthful?  If you show up and its not the same girl, you just leave and you're only out your driving time.  I could see why these questions would label you as a potential "problem" client.  Even if she convinced you everything is real, you have already revealed your skepticism and that your expectations might be unrealistic, so she is not going to want to take a chance on what your review might say.  Just my opinion.  Others may disagree.

are norturious for bait & switch. Or spam!

I stopped seeing Russian girls because I had so many bad experiences with bait and switch and upsell.  If you argue or give the girls a hard time about the upsell attempt a thug sometimes comes into the room to "explain your options."  A couple of those and you quickly decide its not worth the hassle.  Too many legit options, especially in a place like SoCal.

If you do your homework there are some nice russians available!

Maybe I'll give it another try.  I get lazy on the homework sometimes because I rarely have to do it with the K-girls.  I'm tight with the bookers and they know my tastes from the volume of hobbying I have done with them, so when I ask about a new girl, they will usually be honest with me about whether they think I would like her or not.  Had one just a few days ago tell me I wouldn't like I certain girl I asked about, so saved me the TOFTT.  I felt like a fish out of water when I tried Russian girls before, and maybe that's why I got scammed a few times.

You definitely came across as a potentially difficult client.
