This is just my opinion...

Although giving private info may be something you don't want to do (understandably) you should keep in mind that the girls that don't ask for info, are the ones you should be weary of.

I had met a couple of providers in the past, but they dropped off of the sites and now when I call to book appointments, I am told I need at least two current references.  What's the best way to find providers who aren't intent on doing an IRA background search on you before agreeing to see you?

I won't see a guy without two references because I value my safety above all else. But if a guy has preferred 411 sometimes I'll take the chance, but on top of that I'll call his work too.

I recommend P411, they are a very professional service. Gina and her crew are great, they are out of Canada. I never had any problems using P411 in many cities and providers that I have seen whom I referred to P411 like it. It’s worth the fee and free to the providers for a basic ad. The selection can be limited depending on the city but if you travel it’s a wonderful resource. If they receive complaints about a provider or John and they find cause then the offending party is banned from the service. But do not take for granted that every provider on P411 is professional. Do your research; check reviews, e-mail a few times to see how pleasant the responses are. Also some of the fees posted on P411 are higher than their normal prices so check against TER, ad sites and local boards. Others offer better pricing if you book via P411 and have the appropriate credentials/OKs.

I tried datecheck and found it to be something less than. It was difficult to get responses from some of the ladies that I did want to see off datecheck and it did not seem to carry the same weight as P411 with some of the providers as they still wanted reference. While P411 providers were responsive and liked the profile and preferences part of the system. The ability to check my OKs just seemed easier for them to use.

Your best strategy is to get yourself a P411 account using a prepaid GreenDot card to pay for the membership, a TER VIP membership and then find a provider that is both P411 and will TER White List. See which has the better value, booking with P411 or not. Now if you have no OKs then you may still have to offer some information, I would check to see who will see you without too much info. They can always ask P411 support to verify that you passed screening. See the provider and ask for both an OK on P411 and a White List on TER. Now you may need to write a review as some will not give either unless you do. Make it a game like you are collecting your favorite sport trading cards.
