The most embarrassing and strangest thing just happened

I'm walking up the road behind where i am staying talking to a client who asks about a duo.

Next thing i know i hear a lady through an intercom saying "hello can i help you"

I tell her "i'm so sorry, i was walking past and my phone must have somehow dialed her intercom".

I then said to her "could you hear my phone conversation"

I nearly died when she said yes.

What the hell, how on earth can this happen :-/

You're transmitting. You were close enough that

You're transmitting. You were close enough that your signal "walked" onto her intercom's receiver. Radio receivers are tuned receivers but if your signal is strong enough it can get past the tuning. Now you know not to transmit near that intercom. Being NEAR is the major factor.
