After having just received $10 for a two hour appointment and having 4 last minute cancellations, I'm considering making all appointments prepaid. Counting the money upfront ruins the mood and takes the fun out of the session for both parties. Prepaying makes it feel like less of a business transaction. The other benefit of prepaying is less cancellations since it's been paid for.

Guys, what are your thoughts on prepaying? Will you book with a provider who requires the appointment to be
prepaid even if it's more of a hassle?

I did this once and I had a horrible experience.
Most disappointing experience of my life.
After leaving that session, I vowed never to prepay again.

I don't count money beforehand since it ruins the mood :(. He was out the door before I had a chance to count it.

...the envelop will somehow insulate them from LE.  Ridiculous!  Or maybe they think it's classier, that they're not exchanging sex for $.

I like to treat my appointments as if money was never involved. It ruins the mood for me and feels too business-like...I might as well bring a briefcase haha :P. When I first started all of this,  I tried twice to count money before the session, but it didn't feel fun any longer by doing this.

This is why I think prepaid would be much better.

What about a refund on the appointment if the cancellation was within 24-48 hours?

haha so true...! I have no idea why I even ask for an envelope. He could be giving me campbell soup coupons and I wouldn't even know it! :(!!

Well,  in my case, the session did take place but the mood was killed by a 2 hour delay, lack of preparedness and a last minute up sell.

I dont think you will win your case on a 100% prepaid policy.  But you might have a better chance with asking for a deposit, especially if you are securing an incall.  Then you can apply a cancellation policy and guys MIGHT be inclined.

I always have to giggle when a man looks at me with puppy dog eyes and a little shuffle in his feet, "I'm so sorry I didn't find an envelope for this".
How cute! aww Sweety if I need an envelope, I can run to buy a few at walmart. I just think it's very funny how we tend to jump on the bandwagon of preferred etiquette. Like we've shut off being free thinkers. It's easier to just lay some green USA currency on a counter. I don't even mind a bit of pocket lint on it lol. As long as it's all there, he can even stuff it in a dixie cup :-)

a business and everyone knows it is Pay to Play. I want my providor to always count the money and get that part out of the way so she can relax and not have to worry if it is all there so we can have a fun time. Who gives a fuck about what the hobbyist thinks is okay or not. You run a business, so treat it like one and count the money; then you will not get ripped off again.

I mayyybbbee could see an arrangement like that with an ATF whom I've seen multiple times before .... even that would be a stretch.  But to see someone new and be asked to pre-pay?  No fucking way!  Any guy that would do that has more money than sense!

As far as being ripped off - nobody to blame but yourself.  Learn how to screen!

That's the problem in a nutshell.
Screening, screening, screening.
Take the envelope into the bathroom.
It takes a second and then come out
looking sexy as hell.

Lots of experience and time tested ways of getting business end out of the way has lead us to the white envelope.  Prepay will never happen, because everybody wants to reserve the right to walk away.  Would you want to go through with a session if guy shows up smelling like  septic tank with bad hair day, refuses  refund and insisted on going forward?  You have to if you already have his coins.  Just the same as a guy showing up and finds the girl is 20 years older and 40 pounds bigger than the ad or wants to do things not good way.  Doing the mood even with the business part is of what makes the good girls good.

Counting upfront has no effect on my mood - hobbyist know the fantasy begins after the business portion of the visit is concluded.

You're letting one schmuck change your business model? Take the recommendations of the others' who've posted, take the envelop into the bathroom and count the $. Change into some sexy lingerie while you count the $.  After a few times of doing it this routine, I'm sure you'll get used to doing it this way and it won't break the mood.

I would have no problem pre-paying for a well reviewed provider. I did so once before with no problem. I have also been foolish enough to pre-pay to a sporadically reviewed provider because we had been talking online for years, and got taken for it...but that's my fault. I took a chance and ate it. For a lady that is well and regularly reviewed, though, I wouldn't have a problem doing it again.  For touring providers, I would almost think it would be mandatory, unless they are truly making it a working vacation. If they are traveling just for the work, I would think they would have to...from what I have heard from my provider friends when they have toured, the actual kept appointment rate for non-prepay is likely about 25%

But again, I am sure I am by far in the minority. Most guys will likely not go for this.

I would never prepay.  Just count the money beforehand.  Your mood cannot be any worse then you feel after getting stiffed.

The envelope policy  and have the $ placed on the nearest table at the door or have him place the envelope on the bathroom sink,You can then go in and quiety count its contents and begin the date. Trust me, you'll be more in the mood when the financials are dealt with.
