I just had a provider ask me for me real name before she booked an appointment.

she mentioned that my white list were good enough for the screening part but she still wanted my name.

for me that's a red line. why would she need my name?  
i replied that i would not be comfortable with that, as i did not expect her to give me her name.

no reply back and its been 3+ days

If you can be verified why is a name needed?

Question though: why didn't you make up a name? Did you think she would have ID checked you?
But I do appreciate your honesty and explaining your discomfort with that request.

I don't mind giving out my first name, though I probably shouldn't. But some women like to call our employers to confirm who we are. That requires a last name as well, which can be a problem.

I was declined by 3 separate ladies because I told them I was not comfortable giving that to them.
I gave them several references which in the past was more than sufficient. Yet, my references said they were never contacted by them.  What gives now?
