Where is that price on the scale? Can I get a cute girl for even lower, say $150/hr?

Specials as cheap as $200/hr happen, but not very often. For a girl who is relatively "safe" and relatively good looking and willing to provide a nice experience, that is a bargain.

You can meet women who charge less, but the pleasure; and the danger; and the difficulties involved are all impacted when you try to get something that cheap which usually costs more.

Most people who have done this frequently would suggest you accept a higher price and get a safer, better experience.

This is not like a buying uncomfortable shoes that cost less.
The risks to doing this cheaply include disease and arrest and robbery, not just a lousy experience.
Those risks exist even if you pay more - so never assume you can absolutely avoid them.

Passing the "necessary screening" is not tough.

Getting these guys who run the K-girl sites to call you back, or pick up their phones when you call, is a total pain in the ass when trying to hook up with one of those girls.

The phones used by the pimps who set up the visits apparently do not have voice mails that actually work. So you can never actually leave a message.

Often, when you call, and find you cannot leave a message, some Korean guy will call you back and then set up an appointment.

Personally, I havent a clue why they sometimes call back; and other times do not. As far as I can tell, there is no way to predict it. I find it to be such an annoying and unreliable pain in the ass that I do not understand why anyone tolerates it.  

If and when they do call you back, you obviously need to be alone so you can answer their questions...you obviously need to be using a phone that you do not mind them calling...and will not get you into trouble if they do call back.

If you are able to get thru to the guys who answer the phones, they will try to clear you to see a girl.

Since their English usually sucks, this can be difficult. But it is not that big a deal - it depends on how much personal info you are willing to give, or if you have dealt with them before and are in their system to be approved.

These guys must have phone numbers and other info on computers, cuz they sure are able to approve you fast if you have ever been approved by someone in their network.

How it actually works is impossible for someone like me to know.

But that is my best understanding about how this stuff works. You need to decide if it is worth going thru the hoops to meet one of these girls. The girls can be great; the price of $250 is something of a bargain if you get a nice girl who is comfortable doing this work. It can be an awesome experience. It is also exaggerated by guys who post here to be something more awesome than it is. There are reasons why a lot of us prefer independent women who charge $300 and higher. Not having to deal with the phone call crap is one that I regard as worth paying more money to avoid. Getting a girl I can truly get to know is another.
 
But it is not like getting into the CIA to be approved. It is a time consuming pain in the ass, and perhaps a risk to give them access to your private info, not much more.

TJ has its own complications and difficulties.
You can meet very good looking girls there for much less money, but you need to know what you are doing and how to arrange it...or you can get ripped off and disappointed.

I read Harpman's reply as playful sarcasm; he wasnt calling esw any names.  There are dudes ripping us for being cheap on the $250 range, but to me thats good money right now.  Maybe $150 is too, but considering a drive to Tj from LA, I dont see the savings.  Also without any reviews esw doesnt have any history, and with the boards as open as they are I think its fair to question a noob post regarding its sincerity.  even if discounts were to be had id think they would be better shared via pm.

Ed, on your screening post I disagree. It was not easy for me to get seen.  I waited weeks before I saw a thai girl who got me in the network.
