Have you guys or anyone you know got hpv infection through hoppy, my s.o. got hpv virus lately, and it might be from my hobbying. Although it's not the most serious ones but it's still an issue. No more hobbling for me it looks like. It's much more harder to get HIV becoz of condoms, but apparently hpv are more easier to get even through bbbj and skin to skin contact....

Men cannot get tested for hov since It's won't have any effect on men but will cause serious health affect on women if she's affected one of those serious strains....

What do you guys think about it? Is there anyway to prevent it at all? And have your so got tested and came out positive
In the past? Please share your experience...

Yikes. First of all I hardly ever find this forum regretfully any good for bouncing off real deep concerns such as this. I think there is a mix of denial and fear. I really wish things were different since this is a place where this kind of talk could produce positive information for peeps to share. We potentially could be fast to quell any sort of outbreak with this kind of post. And yet it would also be a temporary deathknell for the local business and could easily be falsely created.

A few years ago the HPV world blew up in the adult industry and vaccines were offered liberally. Vaccinating (series of 3 shots) is definitely the right thing to do, and yet once you got it you'll never get rid of it. There is a large array of different types and vaccinating would be wise on the whole. Any provider should be vaccinated for sure (since women and the potential cancer issues are harrowing), and any avid hobbyist (with or without an SO) would be wise to do so also. I wish Sharon Mitchel was reading this and could offer her two cents. Again it is a seriously important topic that most will avoid...to ALL OF OUR detriment.

I agree. This board should be covering this topic, among others, like scams, rip-offs and suspected trafficking.
All this board seems to be about lately, is posting of girls specials, and who is visiting in town.

Those of us who hobby, with significant others, take a chance and risk.
Yes, any provider working should have been vaccinated, along with johns, with three month check ups.
I for one, would mind, if asked, to show up with paperwork as ID

anyways......read up.

This is exactly the reason I never allow bbbj. I'm completely surprised when a provider starts to perform it and immediately stop the act. HPV is prevalent in non-providers and the risk must be to the nth degree for a provider seeing multiple clients. I prefer a nice FBSM to reduce the possible issues, but I find that few providers offer this as a regular menu item. I was born 50 years too late!

I too miss the artful FBSM!!!!!

But your response made me think of someone still around, who I saw early on at the start of my hobby career (as an FBSM experience) and was totally mindblown and the true origin of my hobby addiction...and then I come to find years later that she offers FS and still does now. Maybe you should email her to find out if she'll do a pure FBSM session with you. I suggest she is an amazing at it! Ling is her name!

curio18777 should do some research on the link provided in this thread, because men can get it and share it.

Thanks guys for the input.  FBSM is probably the only thing that I will be getting in the future, nothing else.  Hopefully everyone out there takes better care of themselves and their family, don't ever get anything bareback again.  Its just not worth the risk.

Yes, the HPV vaccine is available for both men and women. It's essentially the same vaccine targetting the more common strains of HPV leading to cervical cancer/anal cancer. Note though, that genital warts which also stem from HPV are often not covered by this vaccine.

As a side, a new guideline is that all men who have sex with men be vaccinated for HPV in the same way that all women between certain ages should be vaccinated.
