I'm doing the Saturday event.  I just wondered if anyone here is going to be getting muddy on the mountain with me that day?

Don't be so hard on yourself and your physical abilities.  I'm sure you are much stronger than you give yourself credit for and you would probably make it 102 yards easy before the heart attack.

I did that.....76mi, 12,000+ ft elevation gain (per my Garmin), 5:30hrs+.  The last 5 miles were brutal

Darn, had no idea about this. It's completely sold out now, but on the waiting list. Only been retraining for a few months now, after letting myself go, but I would have completely given this a college try.  Have a muddy good time. Report back on your progress.
