When it come to negotiation... Ladies: How insulted are you on a personal level and a business level?
Gents: Do you realize that when you negotiate with some girls they may find it to be extremely insulting? I mean we aren't buying a car here, right? You're negotiating the cost of a human body. And think of it this way... If you start talking the girl down right off the bat, do you think she will be THE BEST she can be for you when you meet?

I don't negotiate/haggle.  I just ask my date what she wants for spending time together, then I pay that amount.  However, I don't see any problems in asking for some discount (ie. multi-hour), nor argue if a discount is offered.  It's all about economics, albeit extra-legal.  If the economic health is waning, concessions can be made to keep from bottoming out.  I cannot speak for each and every guy, but I appreciate any financial consideration when offered.  Sometimes that keeps me coming back to the same girl, though it's usually much more than that.  To each their own.

This is a personal and private matter and the nature of this discussion should have blocked your post as it doesn't belong here. I am at a loss that this mase it onto this board .

I never initiate price haggling, but I usually do respond favorably to discounts offered by ladies who are trying to boost their business. It's a smart move on their part. I generally won't see a 400+ provider on a regular basis. (Why would I do that when the predominant price in LA is 250?) But if that 400+ lady is willing to offer "specials" or whatever she wants to call it, I will happily accept, even if its slightly higher than the 250 average.

Simple supply-and-demand at work. In fact, this hobby is probably the purest form of capitalism. We are lucky in LA to have a gross over-supply of beautiful women, including some very attractive imports!

i've had ladies offer me discounts w/o even asking, some of them are so incredibly nice!

i've asked if a lady would see me for a certain price for a certain # of hours if that configuration wasn't readily available on her menu/rate card.  i've never had a lady get indignant or mad or put off by it.

only once did a lady seemed miffed (via email) that i asked for a special price but her friend (who had to cancel on me) assured me beforehand that the lady in question would honor that price.  turned out she was wrong, no harm no foul.

i've never asked to get a discount, but i have asked if a lady is offering specials.

First, you're insulting men with that comment.  You have decided that because he is a guy who haggles on price that he is treating you like a commodity, is cheap, and has no business negotiating the value you put on your body.  You think he is insulting you.  

Well, your body is a commodity.  You are a prostitute.  You sell your body.  You set a price based on what you think your body is worth.  Guys don't show up at your door because your are nice.  They show up because they like your looks.  

Do you think a street prostitute is insulted when a guy rolls down the window, she asks for 50 and he offers 40 and she hops in the car?  No, because those are the rules of the game.  Sex is negotiable.  It always has been.  That's one of the pitfalls about being a prostitute.  Many men won't think you are worth as much money as you think you are.  You're in a very tough game and it hardens you and makes you cynical if you let these things get to you.

Just keep charging what you feel is right and don't take haggling personally.  Nobody is insulting anyone, they're just participating in the thousands year old practice of bargaining for sex.

There is a provider who last month had an hourly special for writing a review, now has more than doubled her rate by requiring a 2 hour minimum.

If an uncomfortably pricey gal I got the hots for is offering an affordable special; then I'm all over her.
But I'm neither going to insult her, or belittle myself by contacting her with "negotiating" as a contingent in my agenda.

By providers over pricing them selves. I would not bother to consider a provider if her looks( real photos) do not get my attention. At the same time I try and make sure my tip is generous when I feel that girls went the extra mile and is obviously under prices as is the case with the top tier K-dolls. $250-$300 is a steal given the quality of service Amber , Boa, Hosi, Kami , Lita and "the LOHAN" privide day in and day out.

Luke, I'm sorry if I offended you with my question.  It was most likely the wording.  I myself often offer discounts... I never even talk roses with long time clients.  What I was referring to was a series of negative experiences that came out of posting an AD on ANOTHER website that brought with it 200 phone calls a day that were, um, no so cool to me. Things along the lines of.. 15 minutes, etc....
I didn't mean to offend you at all or post anything inappropriate.

I also discovered that even the clients I have met recently through TER aren't willing to post a review of "our experience".. so?? i'm stuck.  lol
