if I had to choose, it would be the latter, banging body, average face.  Because a nice smile can make almost any woman pretty!  But, also for me, enhancement does not qualify as a "banging body"

fellow over-50 hobbyists when I say that at our age, just about any provider who's review scores for looks average 8+ is going to be hot-looking to us, so it comes down to service.  Service is king for me.   Looks (within reason) are secondary.  

I would take the hard body and average looks.

Attitude and service from a beautiful all around woman are the traits I treasure.
CDL is correct. With my 56 year old eyes, and experience, the beauty factor must include the personality of the lady. It takes that to get an excited rise out of me. Not just visual any more.

If one thinks about the great beauties in the world, such as models or movie stars, it's the face more often than not that counts more.

You talk to the face... You connect with the smile, the eyes, etc...

chemistry and attitude and the undefinable X-factor are always the most important of all.  A "7" or "8" with a good attitude and a sweet soul will always be preferred  over a "10" who lacks those indefinable qualities.

Great body is nice too, but a pretty face makes all the difference

An exceptionally hot body can make a woman almost seem prettier.   Also, personality and performance can also make a guy view a woman a different way.

An average body isn't too bad honestly, and it seems like a pretty face is harder to come by, whereas you can work out and get implants to have a banging body.

I've had that experience in both ways (disappointing body or face) and I wouldn't want to have to choose.  It's happened to me twice in the last 6 months and it wasn't much fun either time. I suppose it might depend on how far off the mark she is--ten extra pounds or a couple of acne dots on her forehead won't scare me away. If that's what you mean by average then ok.
