When you are first contacting a provider you will be judged only on that first communication. So think how you would react to that first communication if you were in her shoes. Let me give you an example I just pulled from my e-mail files. A provider once had a ad with both her phone number and e-mail address. I could not tell if she was local or touring for a short time. Since it was an initial communication just to see about setting a date later, I didn't want to bother her with a text. So I send an e-mail because I felt she could respond at her leisure rather than being interrupted by a text.
I asked her to clarify if she would be in the area for just a short while. Her first response I felt was nice. She said:
"Good evening,
My apologies for not getting back to you sooner.
I am local.
If you like we can relax tomorrow.
I am located in XXXXXX.
My cross streets are XXXXX and XXXXXX"
This first e-mail above was nice and properly written in my opinion. So I e-mailed back and said that was good, I was interested in seeing her but couldn't tomorrow and would try and figure out a day over the next week.
Her next e-mail said:
"Let's make this as smooth as possible.
Minimum back and forth, so much simpler to call !
So just CALL DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS ONLY.
DONT EMAIL ME AGAIN, NOT INTO ALL THIS BLAH BLAH BLAH... just call and ask !"
Maybe she does not understand that using caps is considered yelling, but that gave me the impression that she might have an attitude problem. So I immediately lost interest. She is the one that put her e-mail address in her ad and I used it trying to not be unnecessarily intrusive. Why should I bother risking someone with an attitude problem when there are loads of very nice providers available?
I know this does not quite fit what you did, but it was the best example I could come up with how first impressions are strongly driven my that initial communication.
Plus yeah also, there is a good chance those photos were taken from someone else since your search suggested that. Maybe it is the same person using a new name. But if they are taken from someone else, she is not going to respond. Also, if she is working under a new name, she may not like the connection to the old name.
